Amon Hen Part 6 The Archways

In this part, we see the creation process for the archways, the ruined arches just above the Stairways of Stone

We will start by looking at the reference from the film

I found some great reference from my Art Books, as some of these pieces were also used on Weathertop

Once I had these I did some line work over the photos to breakdown the structures and also started sketching out the pieces

From here, I could take all of this and start to create a base model and refine into something I could use as a base for sculpting

I took those models into ZBrush and starting sculpting in the details as faithfully to the original as I could, and filling in gaps where I had no reference to draw from

Once complete I printed them on my Elegoo Saturn 3D printer, the final models are below
